Shinosuke Takahashi

Drummer and percussionist Shinnosuke Takahashi was born in Kanagawa Japan and started playing drums at age of 14. Attending a jazz division at Senzoku Gakuen College, he studied drums with Masahiko Osaka and Tommy Campbell. After graduating, he started his professional career and has worked with almost all Japanese Jazz musicians such as Terumasa Hino, Fumio, Karashima.

Since 2000 he has been a member of Yosuke Yamashita 4G Unit and was touring Europe. In April, he released his first CD Rumination. To further his musical career He moved to NY in June 2002. He has been playing with such notable musicians as Eric Lewis, Wes Anderson, Marcus Printup,Greg Tardy,Mark Cary, Makoto Ozone, and many more. Since 2005, He has been a menber of Marcus Printup's Soul Mission and recorded two albums, Peace In The Abstract and Bird Of Paradise. Since 2007, He has been working with a drummer/singer Grady Tate.
