Michel Mettler is a multi-hyphenate artist and writer currently living in Klingnau, Switzerland. During the 1980s, he worked as professional musician before transitioning his career to become a theatre director and producer in the 1990s. In 2006, he published his debut novel Die Spange. Since then, he has lived and worked as essayist, novelist and publisher in changing contexts.
