Jenny Scheinman

Violinist, composer, improviser, bandleader, and singer Jenny Scheinman has left her mark on a variety of genres and bands. Originally from the Bay area, Scheinman move to Brooklyn in 1999 and began a weekly residency at the Park Slope club refining her talents.

Throughout her career, Scheinman has collaborated with a range of exceptional artists including Norah Jones, Sean Lennon, Paul Motian, Lucinda Williams, Ani DiFranco, and Madeleine Peyroux.  She has also been a long standing member in both Bill Frisell's band and as a part of Allison Miller's band Boom Tic Boom band. Miller and Scheinman later went on to co-led the stand-out group Parlour Game.
